...Since I posted a journal. D:

Last time I wrote I had a job. I do not any more~ It was far too stressful and was taking a toll on my mental and physical health. But at least I'm in good standing with the company and could probably use them as a reference. ^__^

Let's see... oh! My 22nd birthday was yesturday! 8D My mom made a wonderful cake~ Yummeh. Her and my step-dad got me some awesome stuff, too! First, "The Princess and the Frog" on DVD. <3 I love that movie sssooo much! If you haven't seen it yet, go rent it or something! It's so amazing. <3 Next was something kinda confusing at first... XD; I unwrapped it to find... the Naked Brothers Band PS2 game. o0; I am not a fan of this show. However, my mom did not buy it because of the game, she bought it for me for the MICROPHONE that came with it! 8D And she found a USB splitter so hopefully if everything works right, we can now do 2-part harmony in Beatles Rock Band! 8D (The game shall be given to my cousins if they want it. If they don't, then to eBay!)

And then my parents brought in one of the most epic gifts ever (for me): a new, freakishly huge desk. 8D We spent the vast majority of the afternoon putting it together.

After that, my mom and I went out to get dinner (to bring back home). ON the way down the hill, I realized that my boyfriend might still be on campus (the road that we were on lets out right next to the University were my bf goes), so I called him and we picked him up. <3 We went to Wegman's to pick me up some sushi! I got some (imitation) crab rolls and Salmon Nigiri (a big piece of fish on top of a clump of rice)! ^_____^ My mom then picked up some Chinese for herself and my step-dad.

Not too long after that, some other friends came up and we had fun. <3 Lots of Pokemon trading, and we watched "The Princess and the Frog." <3 They seemed to like it, yay! ^___^

Today's been slow... did some cleaning downstairs, made Muddy Buddies (<3)... just vegging aside from that. I can't wait for my party tomorrow. 8D I hope lots of people come! ^___^

It feels like I haven't written anything in here in forever. And, well, it has been over a month. ^^;

NEFX was OK. It was a safe drive to and back, thank GOD. Boston drivers are HORRIBLE! The con itself is on a lot our own personal "Never going back to this con ever again" lists. They had the nerve to charge $40 for a weekend pass for a SMALL con (cons of this size are usually $25-$30 for a full weekend pass), AND charge for autographs and photo-ops! Luckily the 2 guys I wanted photos with (Sonny Straight and Aaron Dismuke) took photos with fans outside of the photo-op area for free. :D At first they didn't have any clue the con was doing this! That just seems a bit underhanded to me, ya know?

This convention was supposed to cover multiple genres (and guest-wise it did), but most of the panels and dealers in the dealer's room were sci-fi oriented; there was very little anime-wise. Though, to my amazement and pleasant surprise, there was lots of Steampunk stuff! It really made me wish I had brought my Steampunk outfit with me! Anyways, I think the emphasis on sci-fi might have been because Lenard Nemoy was there, but from what I was hearing, it's pretty much like that every year. D: (Apparently, it started out as just a sci-fi con, but "expanded" to include other genres as well.)

But anyways, enough of that. XD

Let's see... oh, I got a new job. :D I now have a temp position at a local computer-chip-making company inspecting chips for defects. :3 Boring, yes, but at least the people I work with are nice and the pay is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. 8D I'll only have this job for 3-6 months, so I gotta save most of the money I'm earning and build my bank account back up! ^^;

Aaaannnddd... CHRISTMAS! I got 4 video games I wanted (2 for Wii: Toy Story Mania and Pop'n'Music; 2 for DS: Scribblenauts and Rune Factory 2), electronic Catchphrase!, another Wiimote and Nunchuck, new PJs (a tradition), a Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD, an Apples to Apples expansion, 2000 Wii points, and lots of candy. XD Well, that was from my mom and step-dad. My dad gave me a $60 gift card for our local mall! w00t! 8D I got some other random gifts from other family members as well (a necklace, a scarf, etc).

But more than the gifts, I enjoyed spending time with family. <3 Christmas Eve myself, my mom, step-dad, grandma (mom's mom), aunt (mom's youngest sister), and my aunt's 2 munchkins spent time together. Christmas day my mom took me and my bf Brian to my step-mom's mom's house and we had a fun time there! Even though I'm not blood-related, they make me feel like I am. X3 (in a good way!)

And today I'm just relaxing. |D Tomorrow I've got to go to work again, though. *sighs*

I'm going to the New England Fan Experience in Boston with the anime club this weekend (I'm actually leaving in about 45 mins to head up to the college to meet everyone).

I'm kinda nervous about it cuz 1) it's a long-ish car ride (a little under 5 hours according to my map program and TomTom), 2) this is my first con trip with the club since... well, the absolutely horrible one I had a year and a half ago. D: That horrible one also happened on a Friday the 13th. DX It's a little too coincidental for my tastes.

So I'm just hoping and praying for a good, safe, fun trip. This con doesn't have to be "OMG AWESOME," ya know? I'll settle for "Hey, that was a good con." I just want safety, good times, and little to no conflict.

On another note, I'm bringing 2 cosplays with me: my Breeder (though a winter version!), and my newest costume, (winter version as well) Team Aqua grunt. 8D I wore it to anime club yesturday and people recognized what I was - it made me happy. X3

I'm also bringing a simple rave outfit - my purple cat ears and tail, kitty bell, black pinstriped corset top, and jeans with a belt. Nothing too special, but comfy. ^^

Anyways, pray for our safety/send positive thoughts our way/do whatever you do when someone you know is going on a trip. XD Take care all!

My credit card info was stolen.

I still have the physical card, so someone somehow got my name, the card number, and even the security number on the back!

I found out that it was stolen when a $49.99 charge from True.com showed up on my "pending charges" on my account (I checked it online). I've never been to or even heard of this website before today (It's a dating site, ew. D: ).

I called my credit union and had my card canceled (I'll be getting a new one plus a new PIN next week), then I called the customer service number for that website. I spoke to a supervisor, and he made sure that my information can never be entered into their system ever again. I asked about what information of mine was put on the profile, and while they had my full real name, the age and e-mail address were different.

I've called all the places I've used my card recently and the managers are checking for card readers attached to the systems.

Also called our local police, and an officer will stop up sometime today (hopefully). Officer arrived while I was typing! :3

*Sighs* This is the second time this has happened! D8< The first time was a couple weeks before I left for my internship at Disney. Though that time the credit union caught it. Someone was trying to buy gas with my card at a gas station in Canada. DX My account didn't have enough in it to cover the charge, so the account was flagged. My credit union called to double-check if I made the purchase, I told them I didn't, and they canceled my card.

The perp better damn well be caught. D: I don't know if the one from the first time was - I was too frazzled with preparing for Disney to call the police or anything. >< But this person is NOT going to get away with it!

*Sighs* So, in about 6 hours we leave for the airport. I'm really nervous.

I know that in general planes are safer than cars, but I'm still nervous. I've been trying to calm myself down, but I've been failing miserably. D:

I really don't think I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight. ^^;

At least I got to see some of the guys (including my boyfriend) tonight. Sadly, one had to skip out on coming cuz he didn't feel well. D': I hope he feels better soon!

But it was good to cuddle with Brian for a bit. He's coming down with a cold as well... *sighs* I hope he feels better soon as well!

It's just gonna be so weird being down at Disney without him. ;^; I loved going around to the different parks with him on our days off, getting to spend time with each other just hanging out after work each night... I'm gonna miss him so much! (Heck, I do already! I was crying before they guys pulled out of the driveway.)

I'm not sure if we'll have internet access in the room while we're down there (depending on how much it is, we just might purchase it). I hope we do so that I can check my e-mail and what-not. Plus my mom will most likely have stuff for her business to do.

*Sighs yet again* I just... I don't know. I don't feel quite ready for this. Maybe it's the paranoia talking, I really don't know. I feel like I'm leaving for good. I really hope not. I really hope that I'm just being stupid and that this isn't some kind of premonition. o~o Maybe it's just my heart longing to bring Brian along with me. Cuz I feel like I'm leaving a huge chunk of myself here.

AGH! I hate it when I write emo journals. DX I'm sorry!

Anyways, if we do have 'net access in the room down there, I'll do my best to update lots with reports about what's happening and hopefully have lots of pics and videos as well. ^^ (Though I might wait to post pics until we get home - I need to crop and resize them before they go anywhere near the net, and I might just have no time to do that while I'm there.)

Oh! Also! I know my schedule for this up-coming week. :D Monday - Thursday I'm at the Star Wars shop "Tatooine Traders" (at varying times) and Friday I'm at the back of the park at the "Prop Shop." I ABSOLUTELY LOVE working at Tatooine. 8D Prop Shop isn't my favorite, but it's not my least favorite either. :3 It's just that being in the Villains museum near closing time is kinda spooky. XD It also goes from being completely deserted back there to "OMGWHERETHEFREAKDIDALLTHESEPEOPLECOMEFROM?!" And half the time that happens we're under-staffed. D: Hopefully I won't run into that problem. ^^;

I also hope that my second week I'll 1) have my mom's birthday off (Sunday the 25th) and 2) work up at the front of our section in the Superstar/Indiana Jones area. 8D I wanna see that parade again!! I also wanna get over to the Magic Kingdom and see the new parade over there as well. ^^ It looks like fun~

So, today's looking fairly dismal. ;_;

First off, IT'S SNOWING. DX Lightly, but still.

Second, I'm trying to get everything taken care of for going down to Disney. Packing, calling people, etc... Found out today that I'm "not eligible" for a Main Gate Entrance pass (the card that lets my family get in for free) until 2 weeks after I work my first shift of the year. By that time we'll be HOME. T____T I cried earlier when the lady told me, and I wanna cry again.

This will be the first and last time I'm a Seasonal Disney Cast Member.

We just can't afford to stay down there for more than 2 weeks, or go more than once a year. My parents are not just gonna sit in the hotel room the whole time, and even with my Cast discount, tickets are still expensive! 1 4-day adult Park Hopper ticket costs almost $300 (with my discount)! D8

But we have non-refundable plane tickets and deposit on the room, so we're still going down this time. If we were driving, this trip would be canceled.

*Sighs* I also don't know if I can get down to anime club tonight. Since it's snowing up here, my mom really doesn't want to go out today, but she said if I can find a guaranteed ride home she'd take me up. So far, nothing.

Today sucks ass.
